S01 E06 - Part Two: Get your Gmail to do Some of the Work for You

Hello! This was not how I expected the second half of this podcast to go. I completed the Labels, Filters, and Contact Grouping in this second half of the Get your Gmail to Do Some of the Work for You and I realized that you all might want to actually see how it's done and not just listen to a tutorial. For those that enjoy learning audibly, I have that podcast linked below or you can find it on your favorite podcast platform. Just an example of how a little bit of set up, in the beginning, can save you some time in the long run.

I could easily see this podcast being turned into a video podcast so not only to save time but to allow you to decide how you want to learn. Listen, or watch, it would be up to you. What are your thoughts?

What is it about this time of year?

  I'm not sure what it is about this time of the year that makes me think about doing tutorials. I know last year I went fast forward and even started working on podcasts, which unfortunately didn't get a lot of traction. I almost decided that this wasn't going to be worth it to start it up again. It took a lot of thought and a lot of angst on my end on what I should do. Then yesterday happened.  In a matter of hours, I had the pleasure of helping two different teachers with different walkthroughs on how to assist them with not only their data but how to switch things up for students in Slides if needed. It was all last minute, nothing was really planned out,  yet in a matter of two hours, I was able to light a spark within them as they learned something new.  This morning I then woke up to a new comment on a YouTube video that I did two years ago, that honestly wasn't that great compared to what I know now, but the comment was very touching. Multiple Conditional Formatting and Checkboxes in Sheets

  Last week I had a viewer of a video that I made in 2018 ask a question regarding conditional formatting and checkboxes. Now, when I created this video, it wasn't all that great. I still didn't want to talk on my tutorial videos, so I had music. Some loved it, others did not. I would like to think that I've evolved a bit since then, even if I did end up taking a year off as this was A YEAR like no other.  While that video has had several views, I did have viewers asking questions. Now those that know me, know that I'm in spreadsheets for one reason or another, every single workday. It's what I enjoy, and well, it's needed for my day-to-day work duties.
